A graduate in cosmetics from ISIPCA, Virginie Lassagne has been immersed in innovation from the very start of her career, beginning at Symrise’s Texture Innovation Laboratory.
After six years with the Yves Rocher Group, she took on the responsibility of the laboratory at Maison Delarom, a cosmetics brand specializing in essential oil-based products, where she internalized Research & Development activities.
In 2018, the opportunity to lead R&D and Innovation at Eurowipes, focusing on the promotion and expansion of natural and increasingly eco-friendly products, led her to join the ANJAC Health & Beauty Group.
A few months ago, she joined the Group’s Central Scientific Direction, where she now coordinates strategic health and beauty projects to accelerate and enhance innovation while developing new opportunities.

Doctor in Bioengineering from the University of Technology of Compiègne, Sophie Catoire founded the CELL ALTERNATIV laboratory in 2020. She previously worked for 11 years at Thor Personal Care (2008-2019) as Head of the In Vitro Toxicology Department and spent 9 years at Pfizer's R&D center, where she served as Technical Team Leader in Cellular and Molecular Toxicology (1998-2007). Janine gained her Masters degree in Applied Toxicology from the University of Surrey in 1999, during her 10 year role as a toxicologist working for a European manufacturer of contract manufactured and private label products for the household and cosmetics markets. Subsequently Janine worked as a consultant and safety assessor across cosmetics, household and pet care products before establishing her own consultancy in 2023.
Janine has worked with trade associations contributing to industry discussions and responses to government on new and existing legislation affecting product safety including issues such as indoor air quality, adverse reactions, alternatives to animal testing and product reclassification.
Janine’s role at Consumer Safe covers all aspects of non-food and non-drug regulatory compliance. She offers a Responsible Person service for cosmetics sold in the EU and UK, cosmetic product safety reports, toxicological risk assessments for household products, air care and her favorite area, species and breed specific assessments of pet care cosmetics and accessories.

Chloé Charier has been working as an R&D Engineer at Cosmo International Fragrances since 2016, where she has developed expertise in cosmetics and perfumery, particularly in odor reduction, encapsulation, and fragrance solubilization. Initially focused on laboratory activities, she now dedicates her efforts to project management and product development while leading a team of three.
She oversees the development of key technologies, such as fragrance solubilization in water, and designs demonstrative collections showcasing the company’s innovations in Personal Care, Home Fragrances, Fine Fragrances, and Pet Care. Her role also includes formulating suitable bases, ensuring compliance with regulatory constraints, and evaluating performance, particularly in terms of sensory and application effectiveness.

Alice Monier Torrente holds a degree from a prestigious Business School in Entrepreneurship and a Master’s degree in “Sciences and Management of the Equine Sector.” Also an equestrian and active in the world of racing for many years, Alice has worked with several companies in the equine industry, thanks to her diverse professional experiences. Oliver Boldt is one of the co-founders of Uute Scientific Oy, which was established in 2020 as a spin-out company from the Finnish universities of Helsinki and Tampere.
